A Sample of Testimonials

"Walking along the spiral path in this ancient holy land, I have come closer to Spirit than I have ever been...Thank you beyond words for one of the most incredible journeys of my life.”
- D.A., Nyack, NY

St. Nectan's Kieve

"It is to this Avalon of the heart the pilgrims still go. Some in bands, knowing what they seek. Some alone, with the staff of vision in their hands, awaiting what may come to meet them on this holy ground. None go away as they came.”
- Dion Fortune

Glastonbury Tor

Following the Path of the Dragon, also known as the Michael-Mary Line, the earth energy path which flows through the land, we gather at Avebury: a unique ritual landscape with giant stone circles and serpentine avenues, including Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow. Then we take the pilgrim’s path southwest to Glastonbury, the legendary Isle of Avalon itself, once called the "Holyest Erthe in England."

From our peaceful retreat centre set within the ‘temenos’ (sacred enclosure) of Avalon, we spend time in the Chalice Well Gardens and on Glastonbury Tor. Deepening into the Mysteries of the Holy Grail, we explore the magnificent ruins of Glastonbury Abbey with its fascinating Arthurian legends and lore, and follow King Arthur to Camelot, or Cadbury Castle. Our stay in Avalon culminates with a private and exclusive visit to Stonehenge for a special ceremony of healing and renewal.

St. Michael's Mount, Cornwall

We follow the Path of the Dragon to Cornwall, the Celtic kingdom once known as Belerion, the Shining Land. Cornwall is a spectacular peninsula of rocky coasts, hidden coves, picturesque fishing villages and wild moors dotted with the sacred shrines of an ancient people. From our beautiful cliff-top retreat centre with sunset ocean views, we will explore Merlin's Cave and Tintagel, the dramatic ruined castle on the ocean, King Arthur’s legendary place of birth.

We visit the faery-haunted wood and waterfall of St. Nectan’s Glen, Rocky Valley with its Bronze Age labyrinth carving, and the village of Boscastle, home to the famous Museum of Witchcraft. In the following days, we discover the elemental power of Bodmin Moor with its mysterious circles of stones. In the far west, we will cross over to the magical isle of St. Michael’s Mount, experience the Atlantean energies at the Dragon Path’s westernmost point on the stunning cliffs of Carn-les-Boel. and attune to the energies at the healing hole-stone of Men-an-Tol and the holy well of St. Madron.

At these sacred sites, we will work with the energies of earth and sky, star and stone, through special attunements, meditations and rituals. Throughout the journey, Mara, accompanied by other knowledgeable local presenters and authors, will be telling local legends and stories, and teaching the Mysteries of Britain, Cornwall, Avalon and Atlantis through powerful meditations and rituals.

We will be staying at two retreat centres, both of which specialise in providing comfortable rooms, a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and dinner is sourced from local, and where possible, organic ingredients, all lovingly made!
